Lil’Jordan Humphrey is now in need of a new home in the NFL, as the New Orleans Saints have waived the former Texas Longhorns receiver, per a report from ESPN’s Mike Triplett.
A breakout star in the slot for Texas in 2018, the 6’4 Humphrey elected to leave the Longhorns after hauling in 86 receptions for 1,176 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. However, despite his efforts among the collegiate ranks, concerns largely centered around Humphrey’s pure speed led to Humphrey going undrafted before signing with the Saints.
Throughout his preseason efforts with New Orleans, Humphrey caught four passes for 103 yards and one touchdown.
