The University of Texas Athletics' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee wrapped up a three-day bone marrow donor drive earlier this week in partnership with Be The Match. The three-day drive was held in the North End Zone of Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium. Over 450 people registered at that location alone, including more than 300 Longhorn student-athletes.
The drive was particularly timely and meaningful to UT Athletics following the January leukemia diagnosis of men's basketball player Andrew Jones. More information on Jones and how to support his family can be found at TexasSports.com/AJ1.
