AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Rowing's Anna Jensen was named one of eight finalists for the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Division I Athlete of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.
A three-time CRCA First Team All-American, three-time national champion and the 2024 Big 12 Rower of the Year, Jensen was pivotal in Texas Rowing winning its third NCAA Championship in 2024 – its third national crown over a four-year period.
The Midland, Mich., product guided Texas' I Eight to an unbeaten season in which UT won every race in 2024. Behind Jensen's dominance, the Texas I Eight has gone undefeated in three of the last four seasons.
