The Texas Longhorns have hopped in the mix for one of the up-and-coming defensive linemen in the Lone Star State.
2021 Wichita Falls Rider strong-side defensive end E’maurion Banks was presented an offer from the Longhorns Wednesday afternoon, as posted his most recent offer on Twitter.
The Longhorns are making an early effort towards Banks after being only the fifth program to put an offer on the table for him. The only other schools that have extended an offer to the rising junior are fellow Big 12 program’s: Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
Banks made it down to the Forty Acres Tuesday night and was able to showcase his impressive intangibles and ability to Tom Herman, defensive line coach Oscar Giles, and the rest of the staff.
