The news was first reported Wednesday by Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods.com and later confirmed by Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman.
Texas safety Brandon Jones had successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a high ankle sprain, but will miss all of spring football, according to my sources.
