The Texas Longhorns’ basketball program seems like it might be in trouble once again.
On Thursday, Brian Bowen Sr. took the stand in the ongoing college basketball corruption trial in New York.
Bowen and his son, Brian Bowen Jr., who goes by “Tuggs,” were the main figures in a recruiting scandal that involved Adidas and individuals associated with the University of Louisville.
Ultimately, Bowen agreed to accept $100,000 from Adidas in exchange for his son’s commitment to Louisville, which the sneaker company sponsors.
Bowen Jr.,a 5-star recruit, was not allowed to play at Louisville.
