Texas Longhorns redshirt sophomore wide receiver Davion Curtis has elected to transfer from the program, according to multiple reports. The news was first reported by The Football Brainiacs.
A former three-star prospect out of Temple, Curtis was a member of Charlie Strong’s final recruiting class in 2016. Curtis spent his first season on the Forty Acres as a redshirt.
Curtis made his first career appearance last season during the Longhorns 38-7 road win over Baylor, but he didn’t record any stats or appear in another game throughout the remainder of the 2017 campaign.
