Another Texas Longhorns player will reportedly sit out the 2020 season, as Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods reported on Thursday that freshman wide receiver Dajon Harrison has opted out due to coronavirus concerns.
Three other Longhorns previously made the same decision — senior running back Daniel Young, redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Willie Tyler, and senior defensive end Marqez Bimage.
A member of the 2020 recruiting class who was briefly committed to TCU last year, Texas landed a November commitment from the 5’10, 170-pounder. Harrison played both ways at Hutto, producing nearly 1,000 total yards rushing and receiving in 2019, in addition to an interception, even though his season was cut short after nine games due to a leg injury.
