Texas Longhorns sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger is recovering from his Grade 1 AC sprain that sidelined him against the Baylor Bears last weekend, according to a Saturday report from Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods:
Texas sophomore QB Sam Ehlinger ‘s recovery from a shoulder injury is going according to plan, from what I have been told. He threw a Nerf football on Friday, and is slated to throw a real football on Sunday. As of Saturday, he’s trending in the right direction.

The report fits with the projected timetable from head coach Tom Herman and the Longhorns medical staff dating back to last Saturday and continuing through Herman’s last media availability on Tuesday.
