More than a month and a half after Steve Sarkisian was announced as the new Texas Longhorns head coach, Sarkisian now has his Director of Player Personnel by hiring Billy Glasscock away from the North Carolina State Wolfpack, according to Bruce Feldman of The Athletic.
SOURCE: NC State’s Billy Glasscock has accepted the job to be #Texas' director of player personnel. Before joining the Wolfpack program, he was at the University of Minnesota, where he was the director of recruiting operations.

Sarkisian initially targeted South Carolina Director of Player Personnel to fill the same role on the Forty Acres, but after Tennessee fired Jeremy Pruitt, the connection of Hughes to the Volunteers program and the alleged recruiting violations by Pruitt’s staff in Knoxville ultimately caused the Longhorns to move in a different direction.
