Redshirt sophomore defensive end Derick Roberson is transferring from Texas, a team spokesman told the Austin American-Statesman.
Roberson was the Longhorns' highest-rated recruit in the 2014 recruiting class. He was also ranked as the nation's No. 64 overall recruit, according to 247Sports.
Roberson spent the 2014 season as a redshirt, and finished the 2015 campaign with six tackles and two sacks.
Roberson didn't play in Texas' spring game.
He's reportedly transferring to Sam Houston State, according to Inside Texas.
