Former Texas Longhorns standout Jaxson Hayes, a center for the New Orleans Pelicans, was involved in an altercation with police early Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
Officers responding to a domestic disturbance were reportedly denied entrance by Hayes, who was tased in the resulting scuffle and then taken to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
Because an officer also received treatment, Hayes may be charged with felony battery on a police officer.
