Report: After her hot take against Charlie Strong goes viral, judge recuses herself from South Florida player's case

The day after video of a Florida judge ripping into former Texas football coach Charlie Strong while presiding over the court appearance of a South Florida football player went viral, she has reportedly removed herself from the case.

According to a report in the Tampa Bay Times, Hillsborough County Judge Margaret Taylor voluntarily removed herself from USF defensive end LaDarrius Jackson's sexual battery and false imprisonment case on Thursday morning.

Taylor voluntarily disqualified herself from the case, citing a state judicial rule about a defendant fearing he won't get a fair hearing because of "prejudice or bias of the judge.
