AUSTIN, Texas — The Quinn Ewers that sits in a chair in the Carpenter-Winkler Centennial Room on the 9th floor of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday is a changed man.
In a nod to the old Ewers, the third-year starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns fields a question about his hair, freshly buzz cut along with teammates Trey Owens and Michael Taaffe to mark the second straight year Ewers has taken a short clipper to his hair after cutting his mullet some 18 months ago.
He doesn’t regret that old trademark mullet, by the way.
