AUSTIN, Texas – President Gregory L. Fenves, the 29th President of The University of Texas at Austin, will serve as Honorary Referee for the 89th running of the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The meet is set to run March 30-April 2 at Mike A. Myers Stadium and is anticipated to be larger than ever with some of the best collegiate and professional athletes competing, as well as many high school athletes from across the nation.
Fenves, who has previously served the university as executive vice president and provost and before that as dean of UT's Cockrell School of Engineering, began his career at UT as a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering in 1984.
