After performances by the eclectic Aloe Blacc and rising Austin blues guitarist Jackie Venson before the home game against the TCU Horned Frogs, the return of the Texas Longhorns to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday to face off against the Baylor Bears will feature Longhorn City Limits performances by Old 97’s and Django Walker.
“One of the unique aspects with country music in the Lone Star State is the variety of styles,” said Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Drew Martin. ”It is deeply rooted in our state’s fabric and we are so excited to have Old 97’s and Django Walker, two artists with strong Texas ties, perform at Longhorn City Limits.
