AUSTIN - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy knew exactly where to start when asked about his biggest takeaway from a 13-10 overtime win over Texas.
“So the defense played their [butt] off, period, and won the damn game, and that’s what you take away from it,” Gundy said. “OK, the offense stumbled over their own feet, couldn’t make a play and the defense did.”
Texas finished with 283 total yards and was 3 of 17 on third down. It was the fewest points that Oklahoma State had scored in a win since 1995 against Oklahoma, 22 years.
