AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 4 Texas Longhorns are two days away from kicking off the 2024 season against the Colorado State Rams at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, putting the team into the final preparations for head coach Steve Sarkisian’s fourth season on the Forty Acres.
On Thursday, Sarkisian opened his media availability over Zoom with praise for his team’s focus over the last three days of practice.
“We’ve had three really good practices in a row. I commended the team, I think the intent, the attention to detail, the speed in which we practiced with and most notably on Tuesday and Wednesday, the physicality that we practiced with was really encouraging going into a first game,” Sarkisian said.
