FORT WORTH, Texas — Graduate guard Sir'Jabari Rice recorded a team-high 16 points, but No. 9/7 Texas (22-8, 11-6 Big 12) dropped a 75-73 decision at No. 22/22 TCU (20-10, 9-8 Big 12) on Wednesday night in Schollmaier Arena. This marked the first time all season that the Longhorns have lost consecutive games.
Rice converted 3-of-6 three-point field goals and added four assists without a turnover in 31 minutes. Sophomore Tyrese Hunter posted 15 points while converting 5-of-10 field goals, including 2-of-4 from three-point range, and 3-of-3 free throws in 30 minutes.
