AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 9/10 Texas women's basketball team suffered a tough loss at home Wednesday evening as it fell to Texas Tech, 74-61, in a Big 12 Conference tilt inside the Frank Erwin Center.
The loss snaps a seven-game win streak for the Longhorns (10-2 overall, 1-1 Big 12) and marks their first conference and home loss of the season. The Lady Raiders move to 8-5, 1-1.
UT struggled to find any offensive rhythm throughout the contest shooting a season-low 29.2 percent (21-of-72) from the floor. The Lady Raiders shot 50 percent (19-of-38) from the field.
