TEMPE, Ariz. – Five extra-base hits, including back-to-back HR's from sophomore catcher Mary Iakopo and sophomore first baseman Lauren Burke, proved to be the impetus for No. 9/10 Texas softball (15-1) on Friday night at Farrington Softball Stadium as the Longhorns offense banged out a season-best 14 hits in rolling past No. 15/17 Arizona State (13-5), 11-4.

- By hitting back-to-back HR's on Friday during games against both Wisconsin and No. 15/17 Arizona State, the Longhorns blasted consecutive HR's in two games on the same day for the first time in program history.
