AUSTIN, Texas -- No. 9 Texas Men's Tennis advanced to the NCAA Championship Second Round by defeating Navy, 4-0, on Friday afternoon at Weller Indoor Tennis Center. The match was moved indoors due to rain.
The Longhorns (20-6) improve to a perfect 21-0 in NCAA Championship matches played in Austin.
Texas started doubles competition with victories on courts one and three to secure the doubles point. UT kept the momentum going in singles competition with decisive wins from fourth-ranked Søren Hess-Olesen on court one, George Goldhoff on court three, and Clement Homs on court five.
