MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – No. 9 Texas Men's Swimming & Diving earned three victories on the fourth day of competition at the Big 12 Conference Championship on Friday at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park. The Longhorns have won 13 of the 16 events held during the meet.
Freshman Will Scholtz earned his first career individual title with a victory in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 52.09, a career-best swim that placed him seventh on Texas' all-time performer list. Freshman teammate Brayden Taivassalo won silver with a lifetime best of his own, swimming 52.
