AUSTIN, Texas – No. 9 Texas Baseball scored three late runs to win 5-2 over Louisiana Tech in front of a program record crowd at the NCAA Austin Regional on Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (44-19) advance to the regional final against either Louisiana Tech or Air Force on Sunday at 7 p.m.
The attendance of 8,502 is the largest crowd to ever see a college baseball game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field, surpassing the postseason crowd of 8,000 against Oklahoma on May 29, 1982.
Tristan Stevens pitched 3 2/3 innings of clutch relief and allowed just one run on four hits to pick up his sixth win of the season.
