AUSTIN, Texas – Junior Brooke McCarty proved to be the anchor with a career-high 29 point in all 50 minutes of play as No. 8/10 Texas Women's Basketball (21-4, 14-0 Big 12 Conference) captured the double overtime thriller at Florida State (23-3, 11-1 ACC) inside the Tucker Center on Monday night, 92-88.
This is the first time Texas has played in a double overtime game since January 29, 2015 against Oklahoma.
Texas leads the all-times series over Florida State, 2-0.
"I just can't get over how tough we were," said Texas head coach Karen Aston.
