COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 8 Texas Volleyball ushered in a new era of Southeastern Conference play with a 3-1 win over Texas A&M, 25-16, 14-25, 25-23, 25-20, on Friday in front of a record crowd of 9,236 at Reed Arena.
The Longhorns (6-3, 1-0) picked up their first ever SEC win and picked up the Longhorns' first victory in the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown.
Devin Kahahawai had another big match with 11 total kills but she took over the match in the fourth set. She had six kills alone in the fourth set and served an ace to clinch the victory.
