Following an early-season bye week, the No. 8 Texas Longhorns (1-0) are set to get back into action on Saturday afternoon, as Tom Herman’s team hits the road to open Big 12 play against Texas Tech (1-0).
Once again, the Red Raiders should feature a dynamic offense, but unlike the Longhorns, Texas Tech struggled with an inferior opponent in its opener, escaping Houston Baptist, 35-33, after sacrificing 600 yards of offense. Unsurprisingly considering their season openers, Texas enters as a three-score favorite (17.5) over Texas Tech with a 91.6 percent chance to win, per ESPN’s FPI.
