STILLWATER, Okla. – On a chilly Friday night in front of 1,114 fans at Patterson Stadium, No. 8 Texas soccer (9-0-2, 1-0-1 Big 12 Conference) battled back from an early "own goal" to tie No. 13 Oklahoma State (10-1-1, 2-0-1 Big 12 Conference) in a physical top-15 match-up, 1-1 (2OT).
Junior forward Cyera Hintzen scored her league-leading ninth goal of the season at the 76:09 mark to dead-lock the contest, while junior defender Atu Mshana was credited with her first assist of the year on the score.
For the second-straight match, UT was playing without its two international starters, freshman midfielder Julia Grosso and freshman defender Emma Regan, who are currently off with the Canadian Women's Senior National Team preparing for the CONCACAF Women's Championship.
