Seventh-ranked Horns open the four-day meet by taking down the two-year-old school mark in the 200-yard medley relay.

No. 7 Texas eclipsed its school record while claiming the 200-yard medley relay, and the Horns captured the 800 freestyle relay to mark a clean sweep of night one at the 2016 Big 12 Championships.

Texas opened the meet by posting a dominant performance in the 200-yard medley relay, as juniors Tasija Karosas and Jordan Surhoff teamed with sophomores Mimi Schneider and Rebecca Millard to win in 1 minute, 36.
