For the first time since meeting as Big 12 opponents in 2012, the No. 7 Texas Longhorns are in Columbia to play the Missouri Tigers for the third weekend series of SEC play with the Horns off to their best 23-game start since winning the national championship 20 years ago while the Tigers have struggled to a 9-14 start with six straight losses in the conference.
Under second-year head coach Kerrick Jackson, a former Missouri assistant who was also the head coach at Southern and Memphis, the Tigers have suffered some bad losses this season.
