FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The No. 7 Texas men's track and field program sent 14 entries to the NCAA Championships on Friday at the NCAA West Prelims.
The Longhorns have 17 entries headed into the NCAA Championship meet, the most out of the either region. Florida holds 14, while USC and Arkansas have 14.
The day began with two Longhorns advancing to the NCAA championships in the discus. Both Leo Neugebauer and Jeremiah Nubbe qualified for their second event at the NCAA Championships with Neugebauer also competing in the decathlon and Nubbe in the hammer throw.
