AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 7 Texas men's swim and dive program swept the Big 12 weekly awards for the second-straight week.
Nate Germonprez was named the men's swimmer of the week for his second conference award this season. At No. 15 Virginia, Germonprez swept the IM events with a time of 48.45 in the 100 IM and 1:46.53 in the 200 IM. He later added two runner-up finished on the 400 medley relay and the 400 free relay, along with a second-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 53.67.
Will Modglin was tabbed with the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award for the second-straight week and now has three weekly conference awards in his freshman season.
