EUGENE, Ore. – The No. 7 men's track and field program finished 12th at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships after scoring 20 points.
The Longhorns were led by Leo Neugebauer after scoring 10 points winning the decathlon with a collegiate record score of 8,961 points. Neugebauer also finished 20th in the discus with a throw of 54.41m (178-6) to earn USTFCCCA Honorable Mention.
On the track, Yusuf Bizimana was sixth in the 800-meter dash finishing with a time of 1:46.37. Bizimana is now a seven-time All-American in the 800m and six-time First Team.
