AUSTIN, Texas – No. 7 Texas Baseball scored a run in the ninth but came up just short, 7-5, to No. 23 TCU on Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (23-10, 4-4) scored three of their five runs with homers, including two by Dylan Campbell.
Campbell finished the game 2-for-2 with two home runs, a sacrifice fly and four RBI. Murphy Stehly went 1-for-4 with a home run of his own, while Trey Faltine went 1-for-4 with a run scored.
TCU opened the game with three runs on three hits and two errors in the top of the first inning.
