No. 6/6 Men’s Basketball falls to No. 2/2 Baylor, 83-69

AUSTIN, Texas — In the first AP Top-6 matchup at the Frank Erwin Center since the 2002-03 season on Tuesday evening, No. 2/2 Baylor (17-0, 9-0 Big 12) used a second-half surge to claim an 83-69 victory against No. 6/6 Texas (11-4, 5-3 Big 12). The Longhorns played for just the third time in a span of 17 days, as three of their previous four scheduled games were either canceled or postponed.

Junior guard Andrew Jones registered a career-high 25 points while converting 10-of-16 field goals, including 4-of-9 from three-point range, and added five rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes.
