AUSTIN, Texas— Sophomore Brooke McCarty tallied 18 points and a Big 12 career-high three steals to lead No. 6/5 Texas over No. 20/24 Oklahoma State, 70-55, in front of 2,638 fans inside the Frank Erwin Center on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Longhorns (22-1, 11-1 Big 12 Conference) ended the Cowgirls' six-game winning streak and move to 5-1 against ranked opponents this season. Texas leads the all-time series against Oklahoma State, 29-15, and have won four of the last five meetings.
