FORT WORTH, Texas— Senior Imani Boyette recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and junior Ariel Atkins had a season-high 13 points to lead the No. 6/6 Longhorns over TCU, 65-58, inside the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on Wednesday evening.
With the win, Texas (17-1, 6-1 Big 12 Conference) captured its first win in Fort Worth since the 2013 season. Despite only leading the game for 5:38 minutes, Texas recorded a team season-high 14 steals in the contest. The Longhorns lead the all-time series against the Horned Frogs, 37-2.
