Austin, Texas – The No. 6 Texas Men's Tennis team took a 6-1 victory at Arkansas on Sunday at the Dills Indoor Courts in Fayetteville, Ark. It was the Longhorns' second-straight road win to move them to 9-0 this season.
For the second straight match, senior Colin Markes set the pace in singles by getting Texas on the board first with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Pedro Dominguez Alonso in fifth singles. Markes took the last two games to win first set. He dropped the first game of the second set, but then reeled off five-straight for a 5-1 lead before finishing the match and his ninth-straight singles win.
