NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In their first true road test in SEC play, the No. 5/6 Texas football team earned a 27-24 victory at No. 25/25 Vanderbilt on Saturday at FirstBank Stadium.
Quinn Ewers, who has now thrown a touchdown pass in 19-straight games completed 27-of-37 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Quintrevion Wisner rushed for 79 yards and DeAndre Moore Jr. caught six passes for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Trailing 7-0, the Longhorns (7-1, 3-1) came back with a 9-play, 75-yard drive, ending on a one-handed touchdown catch by Matthew Golden.
