AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women's basketball team scored the first seven points of the game and picked up a 77-72 victory over Texas Tech on Wednesday at Moody Center.
Amina Muhammad recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Muhammad grabbed 10 offensive rebounds.
Taylor Jones led Texas with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field. Madison Booker scored in double-figures for the 17th straight game with 14 points. Booker made 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. DeYona Gaston scored 12 points in the second half for Texas.
