KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tied 61-61 with 1:29 to play Shay Holle knocked down a 3-pointer and added another bucket to give Texas a 66-61 lead which the Longhorns carried on to a 71-64 victory over Kansas State on Monday in the semifinal of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship.
The Longhorns (29-4) had five players score in double figures in the game. Freshman Madison Booker led Texas with 17 points and Aaliyah Moore added 14 points and eight rebounds. Holle scored 11 points and Shaylee Gonzales and DeYona Gaston each recorded 10 points.
