After a season plagued by kicking woes, it’s convenient for the Texas Longhorns that three-star kicker Cameron Dicker was in their backyard. Dicker received the offer from his home-town university in late April and spent a week thinking before committing to play football 20 minutes east of his hometown.
Dicker, ranked No. 5 in the nation, spent the last three seasons handling kickoffs, field goals and PATs for the Lake Travis Cavaliers.
As he physically matured, Dicker showed improved leg strength and accuracy in his field goals, hitting 12 of his 16 attempts as a senior.
