LAWRENCE, Kan. – No. 5 Texas Baseball pounded out 11 runs on 14 hits to complete the sweep of Kansas, 11-2, on Saturday at Hoglund Ballpark. The Longhorns improved to 20-8 this season with a 7-2 record in Big 12 Conference play.
Kolby Kubichek pitched in and out of trouble through six one-run innings to pick up his third win of the season. He struck out three batters in his six innings of work.
The Longhorns hit three homers in the game, first by Cam Williams, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
