AUSTIN, Texas - No.4 Texas volleyball defeated No.14 USC, 3-1; 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-21, on Sunday afternoon in front of a sold-out crowd in Gregory Gym to move to 2-0 on the young season.
Sophomore Logan Eggleston led all players with 16 kills, two blocks, five digs and a career-best five aces, while freshman Skylar Fields added 14 kills, hitting .435, and three blocks.
Senior Micaya White also posted double-digit kills with 12 and added eight digs. Freshman Asjia O'Neal chipped five kills, three aces, and three blocks, while freshman Molly Phillips added four blocks.
