AUSTIN, Texas — The UT Tower will be engulfed in Burnt Orange lighting on Sunday evening (May 19) in recognition of The University of Texas Rowing team's Big 12 Conference championship title. Fans are encouraged to arrive in front of the Littlefield Fountain on 21st Street from 8-8:30 p.m. CT, when the team will arrive to take group photos with their Big 12 trophies.
Per campus tradition, the UT Tower is bathed in Burnt Orange lighting from top-to-bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.
The No. 4 Rowing team won the 2019 Big 12 title with a clean sweep of all races in Oak Ridge on Sunday morning.
