AUSTIN, Texas – No. 4 Texas Baseball scored eight runs in the first four innings and cruised to a 9-1 victory over Stephen F. Austin at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Wednesday night. Texas (22-8) has won five consecutive games and 22 of the last 27.
Ivan Melendez and Zach Zubia each went 2-for-3 with a home run to pace the Longhorn offense, while Pete Hansen (3-1) pitched six shutout innings, striking out three and allowing two hits to earn the win.
