LEXINGTON, Ky. — Texas post players Kyla Oldacre and Taylor Jones combined for 34 points as the Texas women's basketball team took down No. 8/13 Kentucky 67-49 on the road Thursday night.
Madison Booker and Kyla Oldacre led the Longhorns with 19 points each and Taylor Jones contributed 15 points.
Kyla Oldacre scored seven of her 13 first half points in the opening quarter and the Longhorns jumped out to a 16-14 lead.
Kentucky scored back-to-back baskets to open the second quarter and take a 18-16 lead.
