AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3 Texas Volleyball improved to 2-0 on the season after sweeping UC Irvine, 3-0 (25-13, 25-7, 26-24) in the fourth match of the American Campus Classic on Saturday afternoon at Gregory Gym.
Senior Amy Neal led the Longhorns with 10 kills (.381), 10 digs and four aces for her second-straight match with 10 or more kills and hitting .375 or better (11 kills, .375 versus Rice).
Junior Chiaka Ogbogu and senior Molly McCage led the blocking charge with five each, while also finishing with nine and five kills, respectively.
