OMAHA, Neb. – No. 3 Texas (30-3) collected 11 kills apiece from All-America junior Paulina Prieto Cerame and freshman Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani, but the Longhorns suffered a 3-0 defeat (25-23, 25-23, 25-21) to No. 4 Nebraska (32-4) Saturday in the finals of the 2015 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship.
Texas took a 10-8 first-set lead before Nebraska ran off three consecutive points to assume its first lead at 11-10 and force a Longhorns timeout.
