Austin – Texas Men's Tennis freshman Timo Legout was named the SEC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. It marks the third weekly conference honor of the season for Legout who has twice been named Freshman of the Week, but it is his first as Athlete of the Week. It is also the second consecutive time a Longhorn has earned the Athlete of the Week honor after senior Pierre-Yves Bailly did so last week.
Legout led Texas to the semifinals of the ITA National Indoor Championships, which is the furthest any team from the SEC advanced.
